Clear Bag Regulation

Clear Bag Bag Regulation

At West Point Public Schools, the safety of our students, staff, and visitors is our top priority. As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a secure environment, WPPS has implemented a clear bag regulation for all school-sponsored events, including athletic competitions, concerts, and awards ceremonies.

This regulation is consistent with procedures at professional, collegiate, and other K-12 events nationwide, aiming to streamline the screening process and reduce the likelihood of banned items entering our facilities.

Starting in the 2024-25 school year, all spectators at WPPS events will be allowed to bring in the following:

  • Clear Bag

  • 5” x 7” Clutch Bag

  • Medically Necessary Bags

  • Diaper Bag
