A special morning with our amazing Transportation Team!
We had the joy of treating our dedicated bus drivers, courier, and transportation staff to breakfast today as a small token of our immense gratitude. Our drivers do so much more than just transport our students - they're the first smile our kids see in the morning and the last wave goodbye in the afternoon.
To our transportation heroes: Thank you for your commitment to safety, your endless patience, and the dedication you show to WPPS every single day. You truly make a difference!
On Tuesday, Ms. Wayland’s kindergarten students enjoyed hearing a holiday story read aloud. What a treat to have a former student read to our class!

Ms. Harlow's third-grade reading groups spent time reading and comparing fiction and non-fiction books based on robots. This week, they concluded the unit and researched how to build a robot and we were able to build a robot with a small motor and AA batteries. The students concentrated on reading, research, mathematics, the scientific method, and working as a team to solve problems!
Recycling helps preserve natural resources and reduce waste. As we recognize America Recycles Day, let’s focus on recycling the right way at home.
Set up labeled bins to help separate recyclables from trash—it makes sorting easier for the whole family! 🌿
