Here’s a quick guide to when drivers must STOP for a school bus:
➡️ Two-lane road = Cars must stop from both directions
➡️ Road with center turn lane = Cars must stop from all directions
➡️ Road with median = Stop only if you’re on the same side as the bus
Let’s work together this year to protect our students and help everyone get to school and home safely!

Today, we recognize Women’s Equality Day. This day commemorates the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted women the right to vote.
The holiday has been in effect since 1971, when it was officially established by Congress.
We are pleased to observe this important date in partnership with our community! 💪

There’s something special about the sound of music in our schools—and it wouldn’t be possible without dedicated volunteers! 🎶
The WPPS Music Boosters are looking for volunteers to help support our student musicians throughout the year. Whether you can lend a hand at events, help with fundraising, or share your creative ideas, there’s a place for you on the team.

There are just THREE days until the school year begins!
This weekend, make time for a quiet moment with your student to talk through what the first day might feel like. Listening to their questions or worries can ease nerves and help build confidence!
