Due to the impending snow, all after-school activities scheduled for today are canceled. All weekend activities are canceled, and our school buildings will remain closed over the weekend.

Our new board members were officially sworn in yesterday, January 8, 2025. We invite you to attend our next monthly board meeting on January 21, 2025, at the West Point School Board Office. The closed session begins at 5:00 p.m.

Hello Pointer Family,
West Point Public Schools will be closed for students on Tuesday, January 7th due to weather conditions. This will be a virtual workday for teachers. 12-month employees should plan to report at 10:00 AM.

Due to the forecasted snow and ice accumulation, West Point Public Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 6, 2025, for the safety of students and staff.
Our operations team will continue to monitor conditions and will assess our buildings and grounds.
All school activities, sports, and clubs scheduled for Monday are also canceled. Please stay warm and safe. We will provide any updates regarding the schedule for the following days as needed.

We had the joy of treating our dedicated bus drivers, courier, and transportation staff to breakfast today as a small token of our immense gratitude. Our drivers do so much more than just transport our students - they're the first smile our kids see in the morning and the last wave goodbye in the afternoon.
